Explorers Credit Union Hosts Annual Meeting with Record-Breaking Member Cookout to Follow
Explorers Credit Union is proud to share the incredible success of our annual Yankton Member Cookout and Meeting held this past Friday. With a fantastic turnout of 351 members served, the event was a joyful celebration of community, connection, and credit union spirit.
Perfect Weather and Team Spirit
The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, setting the tone for a warm and welcoming afternoon. Our dedicated Board of Directors graciously stepped in to help serve up burgers and brats, continuing the much-loved tradition. From setup to clean-up, our entire Explorers Team pitched in to ensure everything ran smoothly, and their teamwork truly made the day a success.
Annual Meeting Highlights
Prior to the cookout, we hosted our Annual Meeting, where we had the honor of swearing in three Board candidates for new three-year terms : Don Cuka, Todd Quatier (incumbent), Dan Bentley (incumbent).
We extend our sincere congratulations to all three and thank them for their commitment to leading our credit union forward.

We also take this opportunity to express our deep gratitude to Mark Brannen, for serving two consecutive three-year terms on the Board of Directors. Mark chose not to seek reappointment, and we wish him all the best in his next chapter. His service and contributions to Explorers Credit Union and our membership have been truly appreciated.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Member Cookouts in Springfield, Parkston, and Yankton!
