On Monday, January 15, Services Center FCU Board Chair, Gene Bormann, presented a check for $384 to Yankton County Search & Rescue team member, Mike Peschong.
The Yankton County Search & Rescue team is made up of a group of dedicated volunteers who have come together to create a safer community. The team has taken specialized public safety courses which help them perform their duties to the best of their abilities. Paramedics, EMT’s, emergency medical responders, search and rescue canines, public safety divers, and certified rope technicians are ready to respond to any and all emergencies 24-hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
They are dedicated to using all of the resources and expertise at its disposal to locate and rescue lost and missing persons in Yankton County and the surrounding area.
