This Spring Explorers Credit Union has partnered with Jerons Java Roasting Company. They have created a custom blend exclusive to Explorers CU-“Scouts Blend”.
Scouts blend is a medium roast coffee with heavy body and sweet notes of chocolate, nuts, and floral undertones.

Yankton Food For Thought provides food to food insecure children and their families in the Yankton School District.
YFFT offers Sack Packs, which are kid friendly food for children on the weekend. Sack Packs are provided throughout the year, so children can start the week with food in their tummies and be successful at school.
YFFT also offers a food pantry twice a month for food insecure families who have children in the Yankton School District. The food pantry offers fresh fruits and vegetables, shelf stable items, frozen meat and bread. The food pantry enables families to have food in their cupboards for meals to ensure that the family is well nourished and can be successful in school and life.

As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, making an impact is part of our DNA and we know that working together takes us farther and gets us there sooner.
In an effort to support our local non-profits and local businesses, Explorers Credit Union’s Gear for Good program will partner with local businesses to support our local communities and our members. The profits will be donated to a local non-profit (501(c)3).

Servant Hearts Clinic During our 2023 Fall drive, you helped us provide $1,400 to support the Servant Hearts Clinic by purchasing coffee from Jerons Java.
Yankton Food For Thought During our 2023 Spring drive, you helped us provide $1,000 to support Yankton Food For Thought by purchasing honey from Folkers Honey.
Contact Center During our 2022 fall drive, you helped us provide $1,000 to support our local food pantries by purchasing a Gear for Good branded coffee item from Jeron’s Java.
Gentle Spirit Horse Sanctuary During our 2022 spring drive, you helped us provide $1,000 to support renovations to the horses’ shelter through your donations and gear purchases.
Tea Veteran’s Memorial During our 2021 fall drive, you helped us provide $1,000 to support the Tea Veteran’s Memorial through your donations and gear purchases.
Heartland Humane Society During our 2021 spring-summer drive, you helped us provide $1,000 to support our local animals through your donations and gear purchases.
