Shred Day: October 17

Services Center Federal Credit Union is offering free paper shredding on Wednesday, October 17 from 1 PM to 6 PM for those who bring non-perishable food or cash donations for the local food pantries along with their paper documents. Shredding will take place behind the Yankton branch.

Before you bring your documents, we have a few housekeeping items:

  • Limit of four boxes
  • No trash, cardboard, or plastic mixed with paper
  • No binder clips
  • No spiral bound notebooks
  • No rolled receipt paper or calculator tape
  • No moldy or wet documents
     
    Last fall, we shredded over 7,060 lbs of paper, raised $712 for local food pantries, and collected 680 lbs of food items.
